Bill Collier Ice Rink Fabric Structure

Sports Facility Engineering

For PSE, no project is too big or too small. Whether you are needing a fabric overhang for an arena, a concession stand for an event, an entire stadium designed with shipping containers, or anything in between, you can trust that we will engineer your structure with excellence.

We’re proud to share that our latest project was done for Super Bowl LVII! PSE engineered the connectors that held the banner advertisements across the stadium. This was not the first time PSE has provided engineering for the Super Bowl- in 2014, we engineered an outdoor dome amphitheater for the event.

Our licensure extends nationwide. View our portfolio below to see a few of the other projects we’ve completed.

Project Spotlight: Fortress Obetz

PSE Consulting Engineers Inc. provided the structural analysis,
design, and detailing for this first-of-its-kind stadium. Fortress Obetz is a
6,500 seat stadium located at the former site of Columbus Motor
Speedway in Obetz, Ohio. It is designed to resemble the appearance of
a medieval fortress brought into the industrial era and serves as a
community asset to host many events including: farmers’ markets, trade
shows, sporting events, concerts, and other community activities. The
stadium will be the new home of the Major League Lacrosse team, Ohio
Machine.

This facility is the largest shipping container construction
project in the United States, incorporating 122 containers which were
able to be installed in 10 working days. The majority of construction was
done off-site in modules, which made this project able to be completed
in a very short timeframe. The main structure encompasses video
boards, concessions, bathrooms, ticket booths, administrative offices
and locker rooms. Open patios with bar service are also included on the
second level.
