dscf7946KLAMATH FALLS, OR., July 15, 2015 – Ziplines are getting popular around the world and now we have one located near Rocky Point about 30 minutes west of Klamath Falls Oregon, this past week we have gotten a sneak peak at this new outdoor attraction as our Engineers Nabil Taha, Ph.D, SE and Ralph Hall, PE, have been inspecting and testing the course that features nine zips, two rappels and two sky bridges.

Crater Lake Zipline is excited to bring this outdoor adventure to the Klamath Basin. The guided tour will be emphasizing the opportunities and benefits of outdoor recreation and the natural history of the Winema National Forest.

PSE Consulting Engineers, Inc. (PSEI) has had the opportunity to work with many design firms that specialize in outdoor adventures and amusement activities across the United States and internationally, but this has been our first opportunity to be able to help create one so close to home thanks to Crater Lake Zipline and Challenge Design Innovations. Once the design was determined we structurally engineer the entire system, which assures the course will withstand the loads applied. We have enjoyed working on this project and being part of this team to create a wonderful outdoor attraction that will bring back for many years new and old visitors to the Klamath Basin.
