Manager will be responsible for all operations of an independent office with team support from the home office as needed.

Of course structural engineering, calculations, detailing, and client interaction are an emphasis of this position, but overall operations of this office will be paramount.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Layout of structural systems for vertical and lateral loads.

• Marketing.

• Client related management.

• Budgeting and cost control.

ENGINEERING JOB DUTIES:

Your primary duty will be to bring your project to successful completion with limited guidance from the engineering manager. This includes but is not limited to:

• Calculate structural loads according to the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code , UBC and other Codes;

• Analyze structures using various structural engineering software;

• Prepare structural calculations and details of structural elements for various materials.

• Field inspection and consultation with client at the direction of the manager.

• Project administration duties and general duties as assigned by the manager.

• Light duty AutoCAD. We have full time AutoCAD drafters.

Experienced Full-time Marketing Director needed for busy technical services company in Klamath Falls. You must be a self-starter, motivated and outgoing individual, with excellent typing, email and interpersonal skills. An exceptional eye for detail and drive for success is important! Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Outlook), marketing via social networking venues, database entry and management. Salary DOE. Medical benefits (after 90 day probationary period), vacation, and major holidays off. Some evening and weekend work required. Occasional travel within Southern and Central Oregon.

Responsibilities:

Finding and presenting leads.
Opening new market segments and increasing company’s market share.
Establish and maintain contacts with new prospects and act as principle contact for selected clients.
Coordinate team efforts to prepare proposals, submittals and pursue contract opportunities.
Develop and expand in-house marketing database and targeted mailing lists.
Develop and implement direct/email marketing campaigns.
Supervise ad/promotional collateral creation, printing and distribution.
In-person and computer-based marketing with existing clients.

Experience:

Five years’ experience in business development and sales/marketing with a professional services company.
Experience in strategic planning, public relations, market research, direct & email campaigns, press releases.
Company newsletter production.
Understanding and implementation of government agency RFP process, proposal submissions and required documentation.
Associates Degree in marketing related field or equivalent experience is required.
